Built, Not Found

Temple Built didn't start as a business idea.
It started as a personal rebuild.

The Story Behind Temple Built

I was raised Catholic — parochial school, Mass every Sunday, faith woven into daily life.

Fitness was the same. I grew up playing sports, stayed active through high school, and served in the Marine Corps. Training wasn't something I thought about. It was just who I was.

Then life happened. Marriage. Kids. Career. Responsibilities.

Slowly, almost without noticing, both my health and my faith drifted into the background. What followed was a decade of sedentary living, poor habits, and a quiet sense that I'd lost my way.

The Moment

In 2019, I saw a photograph of myself.

It hit me hard.

It wasn't just disappointment. It was recognition. I saw a man who drifted - physically, mentally, spiritually - farther than I ever intended.

That photograph didn't fix anything. But it started something.

I started training again. Praying again. Reconnecting with the man I actually wanted to be — for myself, my family, and for God.

The Rebuild

Over the next several years, training became consistent. Four or five days a week. Then six or seven. Then a six-month streak without missing a single day.

But the physical changes were only part of it.

Prayer became daily. Mass became weekly.

Scripture became serious.

My patience improved. My relationships improved.  My sense of peace improved.

It felt like a second chance — one I didn't earn, but was given.

The Realization

Through that process, one thought kept surfacing:

I'm not the only one who needs an environment like this.

A place where discipline is expected. Growth is required. No one judges you for wanting more — and no one lets you off easy.

I didn't want to start a gym. I wanted to build a standard.

Temple Built wasn't born from a business plan. It was born from what I lived through.

Our Standard Isn't What You Can Lift — It's What You Can Hold.

Temple Built exists to restore discipline and belonging through physical practice.

I believe strength extends beyond the barbell — to character, relationships, leadership, and faith.

Every program we offer — from the Covenant to Forge — reflects that belief.

This isn't a gym. It's a proving ground for the person you're becoming.

Why Temple Built

Temple Built is my attempt to create the environment I wished existed when I needed it most.

A place that honors the connection between physical discipline and spiritual growth.

A place for people who know they need change — even if they can't fully name it yet — where the work is hard, the standards are clear, and the community holds you accountable.

Not because we're better than anyone else. Because we're trying to be better than we were.

"Temple Built is not a place I own.

It's a standard I'm trying to live up to — every day."
